Two New Floyd Mayweather Hublot Big Bang Unicos

Floyd Mayweather is a now-retired boxer with a 50-0 record.  He was driven out of retirement by Irish MMA champion Conor McGregor after an almost two year absense in summer 2017 for probably the most watched boxing match of all time.  Mayweather pocketed over $100 Million and according to certain sources, possibly even double that.  The point here being the guy is big business.  So, of course, he’s into watches and has some signature pieces with his name all over them.  These two new models Big Bang Unico references from Hublot feature his TMT logo (The Money Team.)

  • Case and Bezel  Carbon Fiber with 18K Gold 3N Occlusions

That carbon gold material is beautiful.  It looks like gold infused marble.  The machining on all the parts is amazing.

OK, I’ll be the first to admit, I’d never buy either of these.  I don;t want anything that has TMT written all over it.   But c’mon, the diamonds set in the bezel on some of these models are incredible. (48 baguette-cut diamonds and 378 brilliant-cut diamonds) The studded strap on the diamond model is brutal.  I wonder if they’d sell that by itself to put on my Nomos Ahoi Atlantik, somehow. Oh, and look closely at the lead picture, the machined date-wheel is astonishing.

and this:

Two invincible watches delivered with a boxing glove signed by the all-time champion.
