Roger Dubuis’ Excalibur or Aventador S or Phantasia or Valerian Steel or Car watch from the Future
I’m not a fan.
Car company/watch crossovers are mostly crap. I’m not a fan of this watch. it’s not for me, but let’s discuss. The deadbeat seconds is a cool “complication” I’ll admit- but no thanks. I like seeing the engine cover make an appearance on dial side. The yellow works well with the jewels. I like Lamborghini, in fact, I still have to snap a picture whenever I see one. While I am taking that picture which will languish on my phone until I upgrade it and dump the pics onto an external hard drive which will sit on a shelf for eternity, I ponder what it must be like to own/drive a Lamborghini. As I sit here writing this, I don’t ponder either thing about this watch. Not for one second. I wonder how light its carbon fiber case feels. I wonder if it will spontaneously shoot flames like its namesake automobile.
The price is $185,000 for yellow and $205,000 for orange. And as of this writing, the orange is sold out, in less than 3 days. WOW.
