Fake Alligator 2020 Holiday Gift Guide
Every year we write up a bunch of random cheap and expensive things for you to gift your friends and family and enemies. I know this list is coming a bit late, mid-December, but nothing matters this year. I thought about just posting the top ten most expensive 1990s Porsches on DuPont Registry, but then I thought better of that. Everyone knows there are only really Porsche 2-3 models from any give decade worth buying. So let’s dig in.
Tiffany & Co’s Sterling Silver Flowerpot.
It’s now become a yearly tradition to include something from Tiffany’s Everyday Objects collection. This year is no different featuring a lovely flower pot. For plants. Finished in sterling silver lined in Tiffany blue. Oh and it’s 3″ tall. Perfect for all your succulents you maintain as part of your extreme interest on Haute Couture watch photography. $500. Here.
2015 Porsche 918
OK, OK, at least one Porsche needed to make it into the list this year. So check it out, this is a 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach with 947 miles. I’m sure those were just to run to the nearest dealer for the yearly $20,000 tire change. The Martini livery, the acid green brakes, whats not to love about this behemoth supercar. $1,449,995 OBO here.
The BVLGARI Aluminium collection
Revising a design from the late 90s, Bulgari brings back the Diagono line in Aluminum. Err… Aluminium, the way the rest of the non-USA world says it. Apparently. I’ve heard it said like that on Top Gear many, many times. Sporting new automatic movements, we’d gladly wear any of these three watches proudly. Especially the white dial non-chrono. ?. $2950-$4250 HERE.
Ember Mug²
Ember makes smart coffee mugs that keep your coffee at a certain temperature for up to 90 minutes. They raised the bar this year and created the “metallic collection”. Gold, Steel, and Copper. $129.95 here.
Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo Switch portable video game launched back in 2017. It had an enormous resurgent in the first few months to the pandemic to the point that it was sold out everywhere. I mean EVERYWHERE. My son has one, it’s the most amazing video game system I’ve ever used. I had no idea you could hook it up to the tv, and play remotely, and even add a lot more remotes. It’s a great system and a deal at any price. $299 everywhere.

Supreme b.b. simon Belt Red
Not sure what to say about this belt Supreme put out in March literally the week the pandemic really struck in the States. Would it make me happy to unwrap this bad boy on Christmas morning? Eh, possibly, but probably not. Would it make Porter Wagoner happy if he was still a live and into Hypebeast culture? YES. Approx $740 here
Yvel’s world’s most expensive Covid-19 face mask
We all needs masks in 2020. So some guy in LA commissions this insane “thing” from Iraeli jewelry house Yvel. “The mask is made of 250 grams of pure 18k gold and is set with 3,608 natural black and white diamonds, with a total weight of about 210 carats”. You insert an n99 mask and boom, works most expensive mask. A major 2020 flex. BUY IT NOW. ($1.5 Million)
Neo Rauch’s Hocker, 2020
I love Neo Rauch‘s. Work. I’d fill my estate with his work if it was easily available. And by estate I mean 2 bedroom apartment in Williamsburg.
